Good Life is my favorite and they open back up this weekend. The vibes at those 4 places are all pretty good. Good Life, Phoenix Landing, Middlesex, and The Lower Level are all great for underground shows if that's your thing. Legacy is under Royale and a pretty great queer club if that's you're thing. Bijou is fine if you're into house music, the last few times I've been to Bijou the crowd was mostly freshly 21 people. The Grand is more of the same as Royale but more expensive and a stricter dress code.

Anyway, Royale is fine if you're just trying to get drunk and dance and hookup. Your post appears to be one of a number of commonly asked questions about the port city of Boston. People are generally pretty nice and you're much more likely to actually meet people, and there is plenty of after sport drinking at one of the above bars.Īlso the lesbians tend to like the sports.so that might be your best bet. There is kickball, volleyball, dodgeball, bowling, cornhole, football, rugby, etc. If you're actually looking to meet people, and not just drink and dance, I would highly recommend doing one of the gay social sport leagues. The majority of the scene here is bar, and not club focused, with places like The Alley, Cathedral Station, Trophy Room, and Club Cafe (though CC is a weird hybrid). However for 20-somethings there is Legacy, Blend, Dbar, and some restaurants and bars that have become gay friendly like Dorchester Brewing Company, Harp and Bard, etc. I don't even know where you would go to find a gay bar with a reliable lesbian clientele, it just doesn't exist. I moved from SF and this place bums me out.įirst of all, as people have said, there are no lesbian bars in the Boston area.
